elcome to My Webpage. After searching around the internet, I noticed that there were many different people who had established websites for what some would call "cyber begging." Never in my life did I think that I would become one of these people, however after seeing the success of a woman who made a website to pay off her $20,000 of credit card debt, I thought to myself that perhaps I could reach out the internet community as she did and possibly receive the same care and commitment.
Perhaps I should tell you all a little about myself. My name is Erin and I am a Senior at Florida State University. I moved to FSU a little over 2 years ago to persue an education in International Affairs and French and have been lucky enough to have expanded my horizions in these subject matters. Recently, I was offered the chance to participate in an international internship in London, England in the Fall of 2003. This internship -which does give me 12 hours of school credit- is rather expensive, however. My parents who have been helping support my brother and myself while we are in college can not afford to pay the $9,000 tutition for the London internship. So that is what has brought me here to the internet community! This internship is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me and I am doing everything possible to make it happen. It is difficult however to make that kind of money when you are a full time student and working part time.
Perhaps there are people out there who doubt the validity of my story, and perhaps there are people out there who will be willing to lend a helping hand. I hope that you will consider helping me in my quest to go to London. Remember I am not raising money to go on a vacation, this is a 3 month long internship which will give me 12 hours of credit as well as the experience of a lifetime!
